You'll Get Started on the Right Foot
Now that you know some of the resources available to you, here’s a quick overview of what to expect in your first weeks with WineShop At Home.
Once you order your new business kit, you’ll be ready to start booking your first Wine Tastings. Don’t wait until your kit arrives to book your Tastings. In fact, our most successful wine consultants jump right in. You’ll immediately be able to log into your back office, explore, review training steps, and watch sample Wine Tasting videos.
You should book 3 to 6 Wine Tastings as practice during your training period. We have the resources to help you do this, but start making a list now of who you think might want to host a Wine Tasting.
After you set up your first Wine Tasting, you'll want to review the training in the back office, watch some sample Wine Tasting videos, and set up a time to meet with me to go over what is expected of a new wine consultant. I'll be happy to coach you through your first few Wine Tastings!
Set aside the time to listen to our 6 weeks of new consultant training calls.
Do your first series of Wine Tastings! If possible, I will attend, but if I can’t, another team member will – plus, you can attend one or more of my Wine Tastings and "shadow" me. Watch the training DVD’s and review the scripts by phone.
Connect with me before and after your first few Tastings so you can review and ask questions. I'll also help you enter orders and get the wine shipped to your customers.
